If you know companies or projects in the South Sound that are key drivers of jobs, capital investment, or other important community developments, the EDB wants to hear from you.

Each year during its annual meeting, the EDB presents the Excellent 10—great economic development projects that were in progress or completed the previous year. The Excellent 10 showcases and celebrates the great work by companies, governments and organizations and the positive impacts they’ve had in our community.

Projects can include business expansions, infrastructural projects, habitat restoration, educational programs and more. You can find a list of last year’s honorees here.

Help us ensure Pierce County companies and projects get the kudos they deserve. The deadline to submit an Excellent 10 nomination is noon on Jan. 10, 2024.
